ok, so where do I start? lol
first thing first, there is a sound difference between the two. i would say that the injen gives off a louder roar when you vtec, as for the gruppem its more of a louder scream. but the injen is much much louder then the gruppem, probably coz the injen is more open and not enclosed in a box.
after having the injen for a while and now the gruppem i did notice that the low-mid rev range is more responsive. i have to get use to blipping when down shifting again lol. to me i guess low-mid response will only affect the way you drive your car day to day as in more throttle or less. if you were to compare in drag, i dont think it will make much of a difference.
going from stock to the injen, there was a noticable i mean noticable gain in top end when you vtec. you know that feeling when you chuck in a new mod after driving your stock car for a while... you can really notice the difference, its a good feeling lol :thumbsup:
going from injen to gruppem i didnt notice a thing. i wouldnt say one intake gains more then the other. vteced it many times with the gruppem and i seriously cant tell the difference in pull compared to the injen.
i also got my gf to test drive my car (full rev range) and tell me the difference, and she confirms what i have said. just in case it was all in my head because i just spend a shiit load on an intake lol.
end of the day, if you got cash to blow, then go the gruppem but if you want something thats close to it and cheaper, then the injen wont disappoint you! :)

hahah yeh rsx i got scared even with my power sun roof.. just let the car run for awhile for the power to sync in..

oh, i was under the impression that when u restart the ECU, and let it idle for abit it can tell the new mod and settles into it?
To reset the ECU you take the fuse out. What the hell are you guys on about taking the battery off????
So why would you take d/c the battery for 10 min if you can take the fuse out for 5 sec. Leaving your pwr window function, running properly, and not locking your radio/cd player, etc.
If you want to reset the window function, there are instructions in your manual, you have to hold it down all the way then hold button halfway up all the way then let go and hold it all the way up for 5 sec if you done it properly you will feel a click
