Far, 2k for 16kw... Guess if you plan to track your car or something then you'd get it? Wish I had spare change like that..
Nah, mine's matte. And yeah.. I regret not getting the rear bumper and side skirt when I bought the car :( All I have is the front lip. I'll save up for the rear + skirt in the future..
How are you guys finding modulo grille? Its selling for $650. Im planning to get the front lip and side skirts only, maybe a grille too.
It looks bloody good... But price is stupid...
16kw on SRI? It better be a heat shielded SRI, otherwise the only time you'll see the 16kw is the middle of winter. The k24's intake manifold gets stupid hot in it's normal operation, having a SRI close to it it like double whammy of hot air.
$540 on JDM concept

I couldn't find any other places that sell it, other than walking into a Honda dealer.
I drool everytime i see the grille on a cu2.. saw 1 second hand on ebay before selling for $400ish i think. But it was in black and its gonna cost more for me to paint.
Maybe I'll DIY some grille.
BTW facelifted euro now comes with switch blade key and also BI-xenon headlights. Wow.. pretty amazing....
Can someone explain to me what Bi-Xenon is?
Thanks.
MY11 CU2, low beam with HID, high beam with HB3 halogen bulb.
Bi-Xenon, both low beam and high beam use the low beam HID lens that flips up and down. Some also rotates right and left with your steering wheel, eg: factory option Bi-Xenon on Golf GTI / R, Lexus RX450, etc... No need for halogen high beam.
plenty of examples of how it works in youtube if you search it.
my cu2 drives fine w/o fancy schmancy lights
i do hwever need some new bright/cheap parkers and reversing lights. does any1 have any links?
also im getting those red lug nuts i posted before
anything i shud be wary of? like cheap lugs breaking or something?
I bought some cheap LED parkers on eBay.. not very bright, but bright enough for my liking... 10 pack for $1.. with free postage. :)
wth is reversing lights.
ooooo. i like the traffic lights which are made of multiple led's.
beware of not using the right nuts.
http://site.brandsport.com/exterior/...ball-seats.jpg
most aftermarket wheels use tapered seat nuts, oem wheels use ball seat nuts.
use the wrong one, insurance may deny your claim if anything happens due to your nuts coming off...
i've seen many young drivers being mis-informed on correct mods. just a word of advise, dealing with insurance can be a pain if your car is technically illegal, worst case scenario you will not be covered and will have to pay the other party damages too. $$,$$$ gone..... or even being chased by debt collector.
hmm nuts costing like $10, throwem away if theyre not right. thanks for the headsup
wikipedia says honda uses tapered tho?
how come my car doesn't make a noise when it reverses like a truck... they replace the noise with a light wth.
I find those so annoying.. I hear it everyday at work; trucks reversing and all you hear is beep beep beep beep beep lol.
Anyways, do you guys think that an Acura steering wheel will fit our euro's? The dude said it's just the metal frame thingy.. so I'd be using my airbag, buttons and all that from my old steering wheel.
in vietnam, when vehicles reverse,, the lam bada mono tune comes on,,
Do the lights have to comply with ADR or something?

ive got these,,, camera cudnt pic up how much vision it gives . sorry,
but people will kno that ur reversing. btw, can anyone find me some HID T20 :P
Do you know if these would make good license plate lights?
http://cgi.ebay.com/2x-T10-W5W-Ultra...ht_1257wt_1139
They're only single directional so I'm a bit unsure...
I can't believe that this is a thread about mods and you guys are talking about wheel nuts and reversing lights.
yeah this thread is more "ill think about it doing mods to my CU2" lol... i keep changing my mind about rims :(
thats what the alternators for hahahaha and road side assist
Tein supersprint series are a good set to look at if you're on a budget. Mate of mine paid 1.3 for his set and they're great. You have to be careful that you don't buy cheapo spec stuff. I.e if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Don't spare an expense when it is the only thing preventing your chassis from making pretty sparks on the tarmac
Well you could actually use tein ss because it's actually damper adjustable too so you can readjust it to your liking.
wth is a coilover
coilover is the whole set up with the spring and shocks in one piece...
others can usually be adjusted (with stiffness and height), but the Modulo ones are fixed, but i think its an good option if you do not want to muck around with it too much after, and easy installation... then there are the nice Mugen ones....

wat does firmer mean when talking about coilovers,,does it mean anything with swaying?
firmer spring/coilovers set-up = stiffer ride, less 'swaying' when cornering?? but sore arseee.
ok, can i get confirmation that the euro does have a firmer ride? or is it me? i do feel the bumps more so in euro than when im in a lancer or jazz
and, lemonhead, is that ur car in the picture?, cus i love that grill, jizz in pants style
Europeans like their cars a bit firm.
The people in the states like their cars to drive like boats.
I'm planning on getting BC BR coilovers!
And yes, definitely not going for the cheap stuff as I don't want to screw up my car. BC's are 1.3k as well. Now if only my computer at home wasn't broken.. I had a site with a quote for $1,350 delivered from Sydney :(
I had a wrx previous to my civic & euro.
Had many wrx members run BC coilovers.
IMO, they arent that good. They leak & become very noisey within the first year.
That was a known issue.
My mate had them in his wrx bought from wholesalesuspension penrith.
Returned them back within the month.
thanks MR_LATE ,, the grill, yes, hours of labour and re-coating, but worth it.
I felt the ride on the CU2 (stock set-up) was more on the comfort side. but i have not sat in the latest lancer/ jazz yet. they gave me a Honda City to use while I have the car in for servicing, that was one average ride.
The City is a Jazz in Sedan form, but the Jazz is more practical!
Sorry but is anyone on BC coils atm? I remember reading something about BC coils in dec last year but I can't remember now and searching 'BC coils' doesn't really help as 'bc' is only 2 letters. Sorry and thanks guys.
Edit: also, if you are, could you please let me know how you're finding them? How long you've had them for, any troubles, ride quality, what height you're at (front and rear) and anything else.
you guys are STILL getting service from dealer?? no wonder u have no money for mods
4 dealer service = rims gone
1 dealer service = intake gone
2nd service = springs gone
anyway....mr late, can you tell where you gpt your reversing bulbs from?
i still havent found any cheap but bright parkers yet :(
If anyone's interested, I found some sports pedals on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....#ht_500wt_1156
Dunno if they're auto or manual though.
that really doesnt help lol
goddamit! why not me?!Quote:
they gave me the accord v6 when I last service my car...feels so light and agile plus with a 203kw engine.
yeah i dont drive with parkers lol, and ill try to find the reversing bulbs but it has been quite some time and i dont remember sellerQuote:
i still havent found any cheap but bright parkers yet
Yeah. He put up some pictures today, auto pedals.
What transmission do you have euro_noob, 6spd manual?
Yeah, 6spd manual. I bought myself a set of sports pedals off a forum member. Cheaper than what it is at Honda obviously but when it rains and my shoes are wet, there isn't much grip at all hahah. I've stalled once cause my shoe slipped off the clutch going out of a car park lol.
Does this exist for the Euro? Where can you get em?
