Tein supersprint series are a good set to look at if you're on a budget. Mate of mine paid 1.3 for his set and they're great. You have to be careful that you don't buy cheapo spec stuff. I.e if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Don't spare an expense when it is the only thing preventing your chassis from making pretty sparks on the tarmac

have you consider the 'Modulo' fixed coilovers set? they should be smoother and softer then other set-ups (but firmer than stock)

Well you could actually use tein ss because it's actually damper adjustable too so you can readjust it to your liking.

coilover is the whole set up with the spring and shocks in one piece...
others can usually be adjusted (with stiffness and height), but the Modulo ones are fixed, but i think its an good option if you do not want to muck around with it too much after, and easy installation... then there are the nice Mugen ones....

firmer spring/coilovers set-up = stiffer ride, less 'swaying' when cornering?? but sore arseee.

Europeans like their cars a bit firm.

The people in the states like their cars to drive like boats.
