AG, other than better grip (but it's 225 compared to your 205), is it better steering response, vehicle stability and quieter?

Is there usually much price difference between the S.drive and the C.drive?
For highway/city driving would one notice the lower noise and better predictability of the C.drive versus the extra grip of the S.drive?
Anybody have any ideas on the yokos?
S drive is the way better than C drive.
Ah right. How so?
digging up an old thread....
but I may need to replace my tyres soon.
am currently running Yokohama AVS DBs (AVS 550s) right now. they ran quite quietly when they were new, but now that I've got about 40% grip left, it's beginning to sound like the stock tyres when new.
any recommendations? I'm not a sucker for quiet tyres, but am particular when it comes to wet grip... I liked the old Yokohama ES100s... gripped like no tomorrow even when driving through a monsoonal downpour.
go for some BS potenza RE001.
mmmm.....my bad....
Michelin Pilot Preceda II if available, had these on my MX5 great wet weather grip.
Very predictable tyre.
