VTIR (5th gen) vs FTO GPX

what about an e36 328i, read they do 0-100 in around 7?

I don't see why they can't. 2.8 litre highly strung inline 6 i think.

Not highly strung. Only 142 kW from that 2.8L. And the car weighs 1385kg. I'd say similar to an Accord Euro if you are comparing on dry road.
