look at his engine bay, see if there is a throttle cable.

I don't know but in regards to the picture...
Those seats look too low to be Euro R Recaros...
Just a hunch :p
Haha
Don't think that's a Euro R there mate - Euro R's had black window moldings and dark chrome door handles as per the "Sport" or "Limited" variants that we got in our CL9s. That white car has chrome moldings and chrome handles as per the Standard or Luxury Euros.
Not saying that it can't have a K20A under the bonnet, but my money is on it being a replica.
Its not a euro R. look at the 'accord' emblem. Its too far left, meaning the 'euro' emblem was removed. If it was a a real euro r, the 'accord' emblem would be more towards the right.

How our cl9 has it,
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...8-My-New-Euro-) [ thanks aroy7, couldnt find a damn rear pic of our accord on google]
edit: dont know what rear lip he has on that. I for sure wouldnt change a genuine euro r rear lip if my car was a genuine euro r. just sayin.
Well , I might be a newbie to differ which one is euro r or not, so I am not gonna say anything at this point. But since we were friend, I will still believe on him. I don't see any point he would lie to me or to anyone else saying its EURO R, if it's not. He got pride if you asked me, and I don't see he will gain anything by driving a "replica" around. Just imagine how hard people will laugh at him if it's replica. Why would anyone want to drive a replica these days unless they are retards. Anyway, I will still wait for his picture to comes up to me and post it here.
Not an EuroR. The window trim on an EuroR is black. You can also check the tacho and speedometer. The EuroR's is full red in colour and the tacho goes up to 9000rpm as well.

lol... coz we dont see enough civics with Type R badges... or skylines with GTR badges... hahah
You can just see through the windows to see it hasn't got Recaro's and the Chrome door surrounds - usually black on CL7.
Rear badge is also a good pick up too!
This one is defiantly not a CL7 Euro R.....
Still, It's a nice CL9..
If your friend is still not convinced with any of this and still reckons he's got a genuine Euro-R, there is a definitive way to confirm for sure which is the only thing that cannot really be changed or swapped in car, the chassis :) Get him to check the VIN Chassis number, if it is a genuine Euro-R then it must start with "JHMCL7" otherwise if it starts with "JHMCL9" then its the same as every other Accord Euro in the country.
