go a lower offset in the front, 8.5 is an ok width, but you'd be better off going a lower offset if you want a bit more of an agressive look without really being very aggressive...if that makes sense?
As racerwannabe said above, +48 is pretty conservative, look for something in the mid 30's, like a +35 or +38, fitment will still be easy.
can anyone clarify whether or not +38 or lower can clear the turning circle without scrapping the wheels on suspension if your 8" or more in width?

Here is a picture of my rear. Running minus -4 camber. I'm still trying to stiffen my coilovers or getting thinner tyres.. like 225/40? instead of 235/40 to avoid the bumper tab.

you should understand that if you go such a high offset with wide wheels you will rub the inside of the wheel on the strut. you need around +30 or lower if you dont want to run spacers. 18x8.5 +35 18x9.5 +38 will fit on a euro, but you need guard roll all round, maybe a rear pull, and defiantly bumper tabs moved. remember if you are paying more then $500 for all that you are paying way too much.Quote:

enter you current fitment and desired fitment, and measure how much clearance you have at the rear of your wheels between the strut and wheel and go from there.
I did a quick calc, if your currently running 7.5" with a 45 offset and your going to 9.5" 38 offset, you have move 18mm closer to the strut. So depending on how close you are to the strut before, you may need a spacer (5mm would usually do the trick), but then you may have to think about negative camber also, as this will effect your clearance to the strut.
I know on my fitment i was only 5mm closer, which didnt cause an issue, even with natural camber slammed (which is around -4.

stock '05 lux has 17x7 et55 if I remember correctly.
18x8.5 +35 you have to run 225's or smaller with natural camber and front guards need to be rolled.

well, to those wanting to run front camber kits to tuck/clear their fronts, the ball joint type camber kits mostly have adjustability range of +/- 1.5 which I think may not be enough to use them for what you are after, more of correcting/even out left and right. Skunk2 upper arm type front camber kit has around +/- 3. Spoon and Vision I forgot have much adjustability they have. But I'm running -3.5 in the front with Vision and they still have heaps more negative to go.

the 18x18+30 will fit, the only issue you may have is the offset not being low enough as the inside of the wheel might rug the strut. You may need to run a spacer, anywhere between 5-15mm. Just of the top of my head, im pretty sure you will need a 15mm spacer to make it fit.Quote:

as a general rule, on dished rims the lower the offset, the deeper the dish.

When I started modding everyone told me 18x7.5 +42 was perfect for a 2000 Accord, now I'm running 18x8 +37 which is quite more aggressive but its sunk as anything and I'll be going far wider for flush fitment.
9.5 on a Euro is no longer a NO-GO and its becoming more common, that being said many are still reluctant to run lower than +30, on the flipside dudes in the US are rocking 9.5 +15 GTR fitment on their Euro's.
Australia needs to step its game up! crappy roads are no excuse as US roads are worse.

Yep CST was bought out by MB Wheels and then MB renamed the Hyper 1 - MB Battle.
From what I know, you can still find some of the CST's in the US with all the different offsets like +23 and +27 and are sold as CST's as they're old stock. MB Battles now only come in certain offsets. +15, +22 off top of my head... So if you're buying new models of the wheel it'll be an MB Battle with the specific offsets they make now.
no doubt they'll look great on a euro. good to see more people going the aggressive fitment route! :)

So i know i can run 18x9 +35 at the rear. but will these goes at the front? ive been on rimtuck but no one is running that fitment at the front.

Sem is running 18x9.5 +25 and is slammed hard with no rubbing whatsoever. so yes, a x9 +30 will fit no worries.
he is also on coils and is very low. you will need to run a 225/40 tyre and trim the fender liner as said. it will sit nice and flush no worries at all.
you can go A LOT more aggressive if you really want to.
ok so i got a reply from ISC on the CST hypers they have.
Guess as said before they are now the battle as they only come in 18x9.5 +15 or 18X9 +30
What sort of work is involved going that low of a offset ?

1. Guards rolled
2. Mild pull on the rear
3. Fender liner cut and modified
4. Bumper tab relocation.
probably be looking at something around -3 camber all round. which isn't ridiculous either.
it looks like a lot, but its all done at once and will take about 4 hours at our mates shop. He does a really good job.
Here is a TSX running 18x9.5 +15 MB Battles with 215/40/18 tyres and natural camber rear and a camber kit at the front...
