The turbo charger heats up the intake charge alot more then any ambient (including CAI) will. Plus 60-80deg.

Or isntead of a CAI you could spend that money on a properly speced out core for your intercooler... Ebay might seem like a good idea, but its costing you hP.

motor bike shops... prob not the cheapest place, but atleast you can trial fit and see what size head you got.. then search up ebay for a cheapy 2nd hand one, i thought i had a big head but i managed to squeeze it into a medium!

yep cooler temps should see a 14.3 altho not nowing the rest of your details wow i wouldnt even bother racing at that temp.

def 2.1/2.2 sixtys and u will be in the super low 14s with the right track temp and right sixty foot a high 13 is not out of the question

Funny thing is, my take-offs feel far better last night than any other time yet they were slower

ye man an lsd will help alot... make the car drive alot better on the street aswell.. will hook up much better.

just practise and focus on your launching when you go to wsid next time...

Guys

This time round I revved to 7500 each gear change to stay in boost a bit longer but last times out I only revved to where the cam stopped making power 6800-7000

What's better?

nah make sure you stay in boost.. much better... it will pull through the gears much better

also it would probably be better if you stretch first gear out a lil longer so you can get off the line quicker if you get what i mean

That was my first run and his first go at filming race cars....

He got better by the end plus I've used a cheap/free converter to convert the MTS files into AVI for Youtube
