225 on an 8" is a lot of tyre. 47 is a lot of positive offset.
get a tape measure and work it out mate.
if you lower your car at all it's going to be sunken not much different from a stock wheel.
for any sort of flush fitment you need to look around 8.5/9 with offsets in the 20's and low 30's.
225 from memory sits perfectly on a 7.5, thus on 8 it's a tiny stretch
x8 +47 will stick out about 3cm from stock.
Ah yeah. Sucks ai, I wanted to keep my xd9's for a mk5 gti but yerrrr.....
18x10 +35-40 in the rear with 1 finger gap. would there be much negative camber there? LOL i know i'd probs have to run spacers cause it'll hit
If you do it your a legend i think spacers neg camber 4-5 rolled guards and longer studs i think you will need a massive spacer man to be safe
haha i reckon aye. i've been looking at those xxr 521's cause i can't afford lm's LOL. they only go 18x8.5 then straight to 10. not much dish on the 8.5's :( i'll continue looking i guess
Anyone seen this tsx on stancenation http://www.stancenation.com/2011/09/...ng-just-right/

lol rears x10 +18 on a 225. close to -10 camber when fully aired.
the same price as tyres for a set of 18x8? :S
you can easily fit 225/40's on a 10.
and another thing, unless you're running a bolt on spacer AND a slip on then longer studs aren't nessecary, especially on a low powered relatively stock car. even then its not really a must-have.
I've tracked my car with 215's on a 9.5 and 30mm bolt on spacer and had not one issue.
ozhonda dudes tend to be pretty scared of the unknown lol
and 10's will fit easier than that guy on stance nation. the reason he has so much camber when aired out is that he's dialled in that much and hasn't got the much of a flare, not to mention theyre a +18 wheel.
if you were to go 18x10 +25 ish with a decent guard pull and about -3 to -4 camber and 225/40 you will be golden.
+35 may hit suspension.
In a few weeks you'll see a local accord euro running the most aggresive yet perfect fitment in AUS. just wait ;)
