Hey fellas, any tips on street coilovers? Bang for buck..
But I don't really want something that will knock up in a few months... Open for any opinions
Picked up some free tweeters from wreckers the other day and managed to install them :) Really happy of how they sit and how good they are!

Why change colour man? So many people these days (incl myself) would love a white civic, sadly white ej8s were hard to come by back in my days ><" So yeah stick with white :) And yeah what ivseenwars said is true. Painting a bar and wing shouldn't cost more then $500 and if painting your car for $500 isn't a diy backyard job then its kinda dodgy.
really? I thought that cost would be for a front end only?
DT Panels and MJ Jap Motorsports charge approx $2.5k excl. engine bay and door jam. Dunno about assemble though.
oh right fair enough that makes sense then.
maybes thats in India

Nah man, I wish. Still on L's for a while. Sisters friend borrowed it and I just hadn't taken the plates off.
As for ammo. I can't stop staring at it haha, its so shiney. But ofc as soon as i finished buffing the skin off it started drizzling :(
I do this work daily LOL. I wasn't talking about a whole respray for 850-1k i was talking JUST wing and front/rear bars.
when u said strip car, you meant remove front/rear bar from car?
my mistake baboy
http://www.9kracing.com/wp-content/u...2/01/CUUQF.gif
thought he meant full strip and respray car
Installed DC2 Maplight, might grab an RD1 maplight or a later civic from wreckers this weekend, but at the moment looks good! And needa get them bright white lights :)

Got any direct sun or direct light into lens to show for swirls?
Eg,
After left, before right
http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...pse81f550d.jpg
You using a rotary or randomorbital?
No swirls or scratches, i use hand applicator pads, but also have a KEN auto buffer, (buying a meguiars g110v soon) , ive detailed probaly 15-25cars in the last 1 month, all with no swirls and scratches left behind,
I use only meguiars products, even though their expensive.. your left with showroom results, the way i see it, you pay for what you get...
I recently also did fellow friend/member p3akin integra type r , results where astonishing on how well the compound cut worked into the paint and the polish/wax @ the end to finsh of your hard work
the before and after on the pic shows it also . thats just the cut stage , not even polishing and look @ difference
http://i45.tinypic.com/2yzms76.jpg
Ive also noticed, ive been using yellow as the main hand applicator pad colour, but for cutting i believe maron/burgandy is defiently the best colour, yellow for polishing / black for waxing.
Here is another customer car, that had swirl marks that bad it was the worst car ive seen so far.
after 2:30 - 3hrs of work.. got it looking like this

So I was test fitting my BBS RS'es today and noticed that the stock lug nuts don't fit properly. They don't seem to seat on the wheel properly and they stick out too much that I can't properly screw down the centre waffle cap. Anyone know what lug nuts I need to use? Thanks.
You need tapered for aftermarket wheels,so they seat correctly
see the difference
