It came from japan with the FL headlights..
with HID... ill post some pics when i get time to take some nice ones.
Also with my headlights, the high-beams don't work. so i tried changing the bulb and still didn't work. took it to my mechanics and told them to have a look and they said its the wiring problem.. anyone know where/how can have this fixed? i asked my dealer to fix under warranty but he was dodging through it saying the headlights came like that from japan. So he won't be covering it.

Anyway when i get pic's ill be posting them!

BTW....represent from VIC!

sounds like they just change the headlights without changing the while wiring.

Who posted up the guide on how to change the rear license plate lights on our EP3's? (Removing all the panels in the rear hatch)

I can't for the life of me find that thread and I believe there was a post linking to it from inside this thread!

There wasent a thread it was some instructions just rip out the top plastic where the brake light is then come down from the sides left and right till you get to the middle part hope that helps mate

hey guys i just noticed now that when i turn and go over some little bumps it makes like a clunking rattling noise from the right side sorta... i thought it was the ETD but it never happen last time just started and now when i give it some 1st = 2nd it sorta just hops all the way

could the problem be

ETD
steering rack
shit tyres
cv joints/boot

any ideas?

i still have warrenty so yeah any help would be appreciated

btw i tried to tighten the ETD cuz it was loose and i found that the sound was still there

hey boys i fcuked up my tie end rod bolts changing my springs today

whats the part number or proper name to go honda and buy a new one?

its for a dc5 but i figured ill ask you guys cos its the same and this thread moves fast

that bolt I think comes as one with the tie rod end from Honda. I can check for you If i'm at work LOL. but I'm pretty sure is

Steve, have you checked if anything loose underneath? and also checked the rubber boot on your tie rod end, if that splits that will create clunking sound.

rattling is prolly worst case scenario is driveshafts gearing near where your hub is. but hopefully not that. I've rebuilt my driveshafts cos of those gears f*cked from track days.

The nut or actual tie rod end?

If bolt, you can get it from auto one :)

Its M12/14 x 1.25/1.5 cant exactly remember. I think its the M12.

EP3 tie rod end is smaller than DC5 :(

hey steven had the same thing happen to night, check ur mounts cause once i changed my mounts it was all sweet, could be the motor hoping out of place from the mounting position, check for leaks to cause if u still got stock then id be checking them

So its not hard? I'm just not the most gifted person when it comes to installing/uninstalling stuff. Might have a look this weekend. I've been keen to remove the foggies since I got the car but just haven't been assed :)

yeah i was looking at the mounts yesterday seems fine to me no leaks that i can see i wanna check under the car soon once i get my stuff back will let you guys know what it is once i find it thanks for the heads up

Yo guys I got it on my car. I just removed a set of DC5 brembos and replaced with Modulo brakes. I can feel slight changes, the dc5 brembo produce a softer braking, while the modulo brakes produce a sharper braking. Mid pipe is identical between DC5 and EP3 but axle back isn't.

actually from header to mid pipe, they're the same.

but i guess anything can be made to fit.......

Realistically, an CAI would be the most effective when it comes to power per dollar ratio. But some people don't like the aesthetics of a CAI and prefer the bling of the GruppeM, each to their own I suppose.

I have a fujita CAI installed now and i am very happy with it. However i am a bit curious about the significant improvement in terms of power by using gruppem. i believe that is the most talked/popular topic in this thread.:)

yup i have a mugen kit installed. That is apparently my only reason of getting the mugen intake. i want to keep it to 1 brand.

no way i'd spend $1.2k for an intake. particularly the fitment issue of the Gruppe M with EP3 (i must add Gruppe M on some cars are good tho, eg Euro, M3 etc)

as Nepolian said, CAI is the best gain/value. i got Fujita becos it was $100 cheaper than Injen at the time. and $399 vs $1200, i can't justify 3x the cost for CF bling + a few kw here and there. plus i don't mind the hole in the engine bay.

would love to find a way to run a pipe for the CAI tho. it seems quite difficult.

I've had both (CAI-GruppeM-CAI again) and I can tell you that there is no gain in having the GruppeM. I loved it (bling) but no performance gain over the CAI.

Hi I not sure if anyone can help. But I have found 2 error code on my ep3r. One code is P1298 and P0138. One is causing an engine light to come up. If anyone can help that would be great.
