its more towards dry carbon...heat resistance, not the glossy type...

3M dried carbon sticker. Not only that this stickers comes with different colour as well mmmm imagine what sort of colour you can mix and match..endless combination.

woot sure thing...lets do group "install" as well after lol where one could learn from other mistake but believe me if you have done minor gundam, car, aeroplane model then this should be easy for you.

jdm yard has a cf bonnet for $550!

and this is under 100 bux and u dont have to worry about ur oem bonnet lying around at home...and plus our bonnet is nearly same weight as cf bonnet anyway

wont be selling it for a a month or two i need to gather the money for air runners first LOL! i cant ride on stock sus, i hate boating.
plus it wont be easy since, im going to qld for a holi, my 21st, etc.. LOL
just eoi =] but ill be selling it for around 1.8-2g only driven >5000km's on it.
plus depends if people can source the air runners hehe

i don't think oem bonnet is same weight as a cf bonnet. my cf bonnet weights in at 5.1kgs. pretty sure the oem weights more, can fell the weight differences easily by just opening the two different bonnets

oh relly?coz my impreza cf is lighter by 500 G compared to my oem bonnet

it looks great imo - rare.

Is the actual colour 'bluish silver' different for 2009 fd1? The facelifted ones seem to be a lighter shade , might just be me though. I also have VTI and I don't think i should be getting my wheels swapped anytime soon as I do want to keep the warranty, might look a bit weird. Thanks for the pic curtis.

Lol curtis! thanks for the complement on my previous ride mate! Yeah, that's why I choose the bluish silver colour when I got them. and its the only one that have different interior trim to the rest (sports model).

i believe more noticeable with the hissing sound coming from the intake. The performance should be the same or could be slower, dont judge by your feeling then you are wrong.
If you running stock ecu, your fuel/air ratio should be remain the same, no matter how big is your intake or the filter holes are.

that's right.. the only result coming out of this.. is smoother revs maybe.. but further tuning is needed for power gains..

Pick up garage door bottom seal. They come in two different size packs, 9ft. should be enough, get 2 if you think you will mess up. (part #03749). (also notice that there is a foam type and a hard rubber type, i prefer the foam).
You will also need to pick up double-sided tape. Black tape is more suitable because less is seen when it is black. You will need a good amount of tape.

Step-3

Place double sided tape on smaller edge of the weather stripping.

Step-4

Clean the bottom surface of the bumper or HFP lip to apply the HD-R. Then take off the top cover on tape to prepare it to stick on bumper. Only do small sections as a time. When applying the lip around the bumper, make sure it sits flush and evenly. Go slow, take your time, and make sure to get the tape to stick evenly before moving on. When you get to the end just cut off the extra weather stripping and make it flush with the bumper.
