yes 7th Gen civics are 45L the Hybrid is 50L but im not 100% sure, definately know the 7the 7th Gen civic petrol is 45L

ok i.e you have 490km @ 40L
490/4.9=100km 40/4.9=8.16ltr
that's how you get ltrs per 100km
divide your km by amount to get 100km then use that to work out the ltrs
currently i'm getting 8ltr per 100km in a b16 with boost. Note i also have bigger wheels so my km is prob slightly less than what it shows
In my EU a d17 i get roughly 9ltr per 100km go figure. I always thought the EU was more efficient and its stock as. Only has some light weight mags.

im on my 29th tank, currently driven 320 kms, consumed 21.74 litres, tank to empty is telling me 662 kms to the full tank,
drove to work this morning (i work in brisbane CBD), i live 21 kms from work in the suburbs, i left at 645am and i averaged 6.3/100, left work at 455pm and i got 6.4/100 (quite surprised by the lack of traffic on the M1 this afternoon on the way back home)

only bout 370km per tank in EG2 CRX (cam's, shaved head, I,H,E + tuned) but mainly town driving and a little bit of weekend flanging.

my air filter is new k and n,, i was suppose to put the fuel filter in on the weekend but i couldnt get the bottom pipe unscrewed of the filter to hard so i just left it....i will try the other things aswell. see how we go fillin up today

My 96 EK1 (D16Y4) does about 450 with a bit of high rpm's on a damaged thermostat and damaged fuel guage sensor, changing it today and gonna see if it runs better.

I got a EK4 vti-r and all i get is just 250, and you thought yours was bad lol.
I just got a turbo put in so im going to be stopping to fill up a ot more often, im getting it tuned next week so hopefully that may fix my problem because i have never seen any fuel on the ground and my cars parked in the garage the whole week normally.
crap i got 350km per tank on a boosted ek4, with heavy leadfooting and i thought that was bad!
i got my ek4 tuned recently with a vafc n prior to the tune i was getting around 520-530 on average with the fuel light on, now i get close to 620 with bp n with vortex i get bout 580 with the new tune, so im very happy with that.

port3s, i see your Prelude has a 60L tank capacity, if i had 60L on my civic i would be getting 800+km to the tank,
posters please be aware we all have different size tanks when you are posting your kms to the tank.
fill up your tank half full each time and you'll save that little bit more with reduced weight... lol

Best I have got out of one tank in my EK4 was 372 but keeping in mind as soon as the petrol light flashes once I fill up.
450km a full tank in a EG VEI 1.5 SOHC VTEC. always shift @ redline for fist and second gear.

i do 100% city driving, home to work and back in the suburbs but i do have about 10kms on the freeway which sometimes is moving slowy due to peak hr conditions.
well my car is back to stock with 16 light weight wheels and im gettin 450kms which was better then 290kms with 17 vaults and airfilter... -.- btw 450kms=fanging nonvtec to work and to home :D
how much should an ek1 be doin?
EK1 with B18C + bolt ons, currently untuned, averaging 400KM, with granny driving @ 3k rpm shifts and occasional vtec, getting tuned shortly and have been told the 500KM mark wont be hard to reach.
my ek1 gets me 500km but with fking real granny style driving shifting at 2.5rpm

EK is 45 lt.
Although the indicator is saying half tank, it doesn't mean it's half tank in there. The meter drop slowly on the upper half, and goes faster on the lower half.Quote:
