An engineerings certificate fixes the problem with driving a modded car on the roads and it always will. For us enthusiasts if we dont do things right and dont get an engineerings certificate and so on then when we get caught we just have to accept the consequence because at the end of the day they allow us to have modded cars and do what we want to them as long as theres an engineerings certificate as well.Quote:

engineers cert means shit if it's not printed on rego label,
whether its engineered or not, police and still request it get sent back to epa for full vehicle standards inspection

i took my Whiteline rear sway bar off and its up for sale for $50 with bushed and endlinks look at my 4sale thread.
can it fit ek, if so, ill buy it off you :D.. well thats almost a new part aniways

Do a bit of research on that whiteline rear swaybar setup, sorry Danny if it stops a sale but I had the whiteline swaybar kit on my EM1 and it ripped my sub-frame almost in half. It has happened to a lot of other EK's in the past. Not reccomended at all, unless its the newer design one which is a bit better but i'd still be cautious.
Time for an oil change, whats every ones opinion on good oil for a d16y4? i was thinking genuine honda oil but post up what everyone uses
I normally use Castrol Edge 5-30 and stock up on it when its on special.
Otherwise OEM honda is perfectly fine for daily driving especially for a D series.

Actually prefer a modded car over stock given mods are decent.
only reason id go em1 is cause of the b16 really, but down side to ej8, drum brakes, which i absolute hate.... but other than that its the same as em1, less the b16 motor, if i do and find the ek4 rear brake swap next year, ill definite keep the ej8

I've been a busy little bee..
Installed new bumper & colour coded door bumper things, New terminals, fitted and wired up switches and relays for new projector HID fog lights, installed new projector halo + HID headlights.
new cluster and instrument lights coming this week, so should have that done and painted wheels by the end of the weekend :)
while not specific to EK/EG, just saw the Mugen CRZ will be at Sydney International Motor Show this year... would be nice to check it out in the flesh :D
