There is another thread talking about the lowest people can go on the trip computer.... I went down to 0km before.

How do the pumps detect the fuel tank is full? Back pressure back to the pump? Or is there a sensor in the tip?
that happened to me with my civic once, it splashed all up my arm and I smelt like fuel all day. not fun lol
I wander if the trip computer shows -1km, -2km etc.. if you go below 0km. Surely there's a few Litres of reserve.
It should stay at zero... Jeremy Clarkson would be amazed that the Euro can drive on fumes. hahhaha.
a bit of both apparently:

Hidden Settings on 07+ Limited Tourer!
I was looking for a way to adjust the clock on my 07 Tourer, after giving up on googgling/searching around the manual/asking ppl on the forum. I decided to play around in the car and just SIMPLY TRY THE GOOD OLD WAY - HOLD DIFFERENT COMBINATION KEYS.
This only applies to the Sat Nav Euros. Not sure would it work on pre-2007 models. Guys please test it and let us know.
Turn the key in the ignition so the Sat Nav Unit Starts,
HOLD "SETUP"+"MENU"+"CANCEL" FOR 3 SECS.....

and Select "Function Setup"

There are lots of cool stuff on it as well!
Like:
"Tire Calibrate" - Shows Tire offset details.
"Car Satus" - Shows lots of differet stats, battery, GPS, engine, etc.
pretty cool find
Cool, I want a new sat nav euro now.
Awesome - will try that out tonight for sure.
Dont think i saw this mentioned.
The side sir bags will de-activate if it senses something on them.
My drunk friend was leaning out of the passenger window the whole ride home, and the "side air bag is off" came on after a little while and stayed on until he stopped leaning out the window.
Side air bag de-activation was mention somewhere before..
I LOVE MY KNOB!! and the one inside my car too Hahaha!!! picked it up last week... enjoy my knob guys!!:p
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/attachm...1&d=1205722831
Your knobs the same as my knob, and i thought my knob was nice, but now that i know you have the same knob as my knob i feel less special?
lol
knob :)
Something i noticed today in the euro, probably slow of me, but infront of the down lights for the driver/passenger theres a little grill that looks like a speaker should be under there?
Is this for overseas models which have some kind of integration with phone etc?
haha we can be special together lol
Can the shift boot sit any higher, or is that how it is with the skunk2 knob?
how much was that knob >??
I see it for sale on the trader page, 999 automotive - $72 incl shipping + free gift for the 6 speed billet.
go alan  ill go look
yeah it can, i think you gotta take out the white bit(standard clip) of the orignal. and somehow make it sit up nice n high. cable tie maybe but it mite look a dodgey. i know that adam at 999 sell after market shift boot and different colour leather too.. once ive got some free time on my hands ill look at it and figure it out n once its nicer ill post another pic.
if anyone on here has done it before, some tips be great.
Keep On Topic.... :)
in the overseas models (us i think?) there is an ultra sonic sensor in there, its used for the car alarm so u can leave the windows down, if someone reaches in, the alram goes off :D very cool
lol because the old knob uses a plastic holder to keep the boot up they sit like that... i have DC5R knob (basically exact same as spoon knob) and i cut down my gear stick and re-threaded it... makes it sit lower and the boot covers it...
Heated mirrors are good for low temp countries like Canada, its of no use in Aus 90% of the time. But yeah there are some other nice features listed in the Manual that we dont get. Honda Aus need to be competitive and get around the high cost of cars in Aus, so they need to remove a few features here and there.
lol i thought you were talking about the front of the dash. :o
I hold my boot up with 3 rolls of Velcro tapes.....

Not sure if this works universally but when I hold the CD/AUX button for about 10 seconds the Temp and Audio/Clock display above the sat nav unit switches off. Holding it down again then switches it back on.
x2 black cable tie FTW!!! lol

Guys, this is the adapter i use so the DC5R or skunk2 knob can seamlessly match the shift boot...its a bit expensive for a bit of aluminium but its worth it :D

Cheers
Someone give me a rep point! :)
nice work good find!!!
dont know if it has been covered or not, as i wasnt going to read all 44 pages..
but while revving the car in neutral (manual version) there seems to be an auto cut-off/redline point at 4500rpm..
I mentioned what I had done in an earlier post...
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...t=64628&page=6
cant say I agree with this. for example, VTEC engines rev fine on a dyno with no wind, and the stock intake doesnt catch the wind.
I believe its more likely to be a safety feature, i.e. when you accidentally hit the accelerator when idling, or its to stop people from dumping the clutch/auto into 1st gear at an excessive RPM that could damage the tranny.
You have fans running on a dyno.... no way I am going to put my car on a dyno without fans....
Heres how i attached mine:

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...F1869Small.jpg
i actually cut my shifter about 2-3cm shorter, then rethreaded it, because i reckon the stock knob hieght is too high. then i cable tied the boot on the shaft inside out and then flipped it down... i think it looks sexy :D
Not sure if this has been posted yet. I was driving today and found that the center hand rest can move forward and backward, so that people with short arms like me, can still rest their arm while changing gears :P
Ive got an 03 lux so im not sure if this is the case for other models?
hahahaha
When I sat in the car and found that it comes out, I thought I had broken it, but then realised it was a feature....and an awesome at that too :D
I havent seen any other cars that have that feature.....anyone know of any? or is the euro one of a kind?
all i can say ROFLMAO!!!!!
Yea, its in quite a few cars. The VW golf for one. But apparently that one can raise as well!
One thing i DONT see is
"7. CD compartments have slots to hold CDs!!!!"
yea it does look, at the middle compartment, and look inside towards more to the left, it has a little hinge of some sort so you can fit about 7 thin cd cases or 3 - 4 normal cd cases.
Hi guys, not sure if it's because I'm a noob, but I can't seem to bring the windows down using the remote key if I hold the "unlock" button. I have the CU2 Luxury if this makes any difference?
Also can't seem to move the center handrest in my car. Could this be because the CU2 does not have these functionalities?
I still today cant find the mythical cd holder in the centre bin. Then again im dumb.
I've noticed it there, but didn't think it was for CDs, coz its like...5cm gap. I guess if you have 5CD cases jammed in at once it'd work.
Can anyone confirm if the CU2 Euro has the remote windows down function?
The centre console compartment does not have cd racks in mine. Just plain old box with nothing in it.
Its just a small divider... the so called CD holder.
wow there are some realy cool things in hear i just read all 46 pages lol and tryed all of em
i was lookin in my manual and it says that on the right hand side under the air vant there is a seitch to adjust the head lights//??
i went out to check but in this spot iv got the alarm light,VSA ,and sun roof.
iv really gotta fit the head light coz i cant see shit lol car is too low,iv got to use high beam just to see wats happening
Ryan
As far as i know, the head light levelers on the CL9 luxury are under the bonnet. Two knobby things just above each headlight! they have arrows on them, never tried turning them though.. don't wanna be blinding peolpe on the roads by accident haha :D
prob best for me to have the pros do it lol
and did any1 end up finding the fuel cut off switch under the steering colum?
Ryan, the headlight level adjustment switch on the dash is only available in the Euro Standard because Euro Luxury has auto-levelling for the xenon headlights.
Simonnn is correct about the knurled knobs but most workshops have a headlight aiming machine and can reset the lights correctly in a matter of minutes.
thanks for the info guys
loving the auto windows
GUys, anyone knows is there any after market reverse camera can be install for the base model euro CU2.
unlock ur car with the key button. then after press and hold the unlock key. all windows will go down.
Then if you put the key in the door and lock it, then again lock it and hold, the windows will go up. I think 06+ cl9s u can do with the lock key button (not sure, I remember reading something bout it, or might have been cu2)
Hold the unlock button on your remote down and all your windows will open as well after about 2-3 seconds. Great for hot days when you want to let the hot air out before you get into the car.
For the CL9, if you want to wind all the windows up, just lock the door by sticking the key into the lock and turning clockwise, release and then turn clockwise again a 2nd time and hold it in that position for 2-3 seconds. The windows will then wind up. Release the key and remove once all the windows are up.
