I'd think $1699 fitted is a pretty good deal consider Fulcrum charges $450 to fit and alignment....

anyone who has done their speakers know the size and mounting depth of the front speakers. (i'm guessing 6" for size, nfi with depth)

More worried about depth but.
Would like normal size mid bass fit eg. 3-4inch depth?

well i just did a little bit of comparison and the type r's are relatively shallow at 59mm.
the speakers i'm looking at are around 3inch (77mm) you rkn i'll have problems.
Ideally, I'd want to avoid cutting a new speaker position

What parts are you after if your after second hand parts buy Option Magazine I think that's what's called from the local newsagency than search from there. If your after new parts there will be a few weeks wait depending on the shop. Try Mong Kok shops but most of them have moved.
any know much about taxes when u purchase something from overseas ?? im looking at buying mono flex tein's but im wondering what extra would i pay when it arrives here. Im totally clueless :S i know there is customs but im not sure how they work out the payments etc
When i tried mong kok shops they normally sell stuff like broadway mirrors, perfumes, stickers, leds, neons, sound systems, etc. was even looking for branded lug nuts and couldn't find any shops with them. i think there was one shop that had some suspension, wheels etc, that one had a veilside rx7 FD.
i heard most of the good car shops are quite far away, and need to drive to get there...

-rear side windows are same tint as front
i already knew about no power windows b4 i bought it but when i checked the car out yesterday i realized it was a non-cp and i was :o

tbh i don't think it's that big of a deal, the only deal breaker (no central locking) is getting fixed via alarm (including adding central locking)

I'd prefer evo.. I Dunno is it just me or sti don't give the jdm feel anymore..
To me turbo awd is boring to drive on the street. No doubt they are quick but just not my cup of tea.
Also fuel and maintenance are the killers.
I have had a R32 GTR for 6 months and driven my fd's evo8 mr many times and Type R is just more exciting to drive.
Realiability wise NA cars are the best especially hondas. =)
I've owned and driven almost every turbo jap car that has come to Australia you can think of.
But after having the EP3, it felt like when I got my first turbo car all those years ago, a Toyota Soarer TT in 1995/6 when the import scene started to grow.
But everyone has different opinions due to their past experiences I suppose....

Ok Update on the wipers
I've ordered thess wipers like 8 weeks ago and there were delays for the first 3 weeks due to some shipment trouble. Than went overseas for like 3 weeks afterwards. Went into the store today unfortunately I was told one side of my wipers had been sent to another store gerrrr not happy at all now I need to wait for another week.
