Prop valve still broken x3
I had a problem with Idle speed, cold start 2100rpm and when it warm up 1200 rpm ( becuase seem the old owner damaged the Tb inside and was leaking air, so i went wrecker picked my self Gsi B18b2 throttle body 60mm, compared to 55mm D16a8 throttle body. It feel better, better response, feel like more air. Now it start and idle just perfect ;)

3/4 of the way into finally completing the hatch nose on my sedan. This guards all welded up now. Just like this pic because the gaps are mint. Fingers crossed I can get Hi Fill to it tomorrow and new colour under the bonnet. Also had aspirations to polish two outer rims. That plan isnt looking so crash hot lol

Few little odds and ends this week after last weeks effort. Finally got around to giving the radiator support a bit of a knock to bring the bonnet down. Its gapped up tidy as now and ready to call the hatchback front conversion complete.

Also got the recoated bolts in the Simmons I'm in the middle of cleaning up. I 'assumed' they were stainless and machine brushed them. rusted within a week of fitting them up :( The two completed wheels are both done now and I can send the rest of the bolts to the platers Monday.

Small repairs to the front lip and side skirts tomorrow then fingers crossed I can get some booth time at work for next Saturday.

Good to see ppl still rock them.

Closed down and have been for a while. From memory I think Tempe bought it out? and will be making 17 inch and up
They aren't the worlds best by any means by I love 'em. Probably residual feeling from my childhood lol

the visions look like they sit up on an angle.. is it the pic orr .. ?
nice find either way.
you can move the vision mirrors cos theres a ball joint. just put it sticking up because i wanted to be usdm for a few mins :( took it off anyways shit as vision cant see shit all on the passenger side its just too small.
 Those mirrors are wild. Pity they are functional enough for you.
I decided not to paint my car this week. Been buggered all week and wanted a rest...right  Ended up tearing my garage apart to build a new bench and finally sourced some amber paint. It's a bit bright and will hopefully look better with one or two coats of tint. See how they look with the car painted first.
http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/a...k/DSC03239.jpg
:/ Just noticed they appear really unevenly painted in the pic but they look fine to stand and look at them.
dude your paint job atm looks pretty hot lol, and im being seroius looks nice for somereason
Heh cheers man. Mt Druitt Racing Grey is cool, until your stuck with it lol At least the whole car is in primer now except the roof. Driving patchy sucks balls. Hopefully this time next week I'll be putting it all back together Jet Black :)

Finished swapping the B series into my EG, what a bastard of a job
i've done 6 carby to efi conversion it's not as bad as people put it out,, if you were keen as mustard 2 people would take about 7 hours.. with right parts and right tools ..
had some time during the weekend to remove power steering assy, torque mounts on driver and passenger side, also heater box and blower setup,

also purchased block off plugs to blank up the existing heater hoses from motor.
hey man,, i have driven damienm egk24 which operates without power assist feels much better in a track car,
i have driven cars without power assisted steering for many years, it's not hard just over exxagerated for some people,
i haven't looped the lines or put a breather, but i think i'll be putting fluid in the rack bleeding the manual rak up and looping the lines,,
didnt have to buy them man could of went to wreakers or if u had spare head like me you can undo it and use it as the block off
Remove the water outlet in the the head (use a socket or ring spanner, not a shifter)
Replace water fitting with B-Series rocker shaft plug
-10mm allen drive found is 3 places on B-series vtec head - 2 cam belt end, 1 dissy end
These plugs share the same fine thread as the water outlet in the head so is/are a direct replacment that neatly solves the head side of the issue.
hey dave have you got pics? it was only 4 bucks but if it looks neater why not cheers
cheers dave that's heaps neater
i'll find a spare head or head off to wreckers and i'll find them bungs very neat thanks heaps,
listed my car for sale
replaced shifter arm shaft, selector and mtec springs for dat crispiness

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/6406/20111117170530r.jpg
haha mr charliebrown picked up the eg. how is it?
can't drive manual?? hope your clutch has lots of meat left on it.
Stalled 3 times trying to move the car forward 1 metre. Ended up getting someone to push the car looooool
^^^^^^^ let go of the clutch slowly, clutch only very slow and youll feel at one point which will be your fiction point the car will move really slow and the idle will drop, tap the accelrator to about 1.5k rpm to balance it and let go of the clutch slowly. youll get use to it
haha vinh i like the look of your car on steelies compared to the em1 rims lol
viinnh, what tail lights are those with the clear corners? Is it USDM or EG6 or something? My car will look pretty similar to that soon. What are you lowered on?
installed radiator, radiator upper host, new thermostat, new coolant, type r steering rack, air conditioning, new wheel hub, steering alignment at heasmans...
STILL COULDNT MAKE IT TO THE LAST SOTS AT WAKEFIELD PARK.
****ing fail.
how's your radiator cap? and hoses? is it using coolant? is it leaking coolant?
no need,, just leave radiator cap undone ,, wait till thermostat kicks in and top up coolant if neccessary repeat process if required
yeah redo bleeding procedure,, you can also use the bleed nipple if you don't wana do radiator cap styles,,
park on slope why can't you do even surface?
park on slope equivalent to jacking front of car up lol. I did the last air bleeding on pretty even ground so I just wanna make sure this time.
