Personally, i wouldn't go for chrome. But if you had to, i would definitely pick the first style you linked.
here it is relinked because it was kinda stuffed in your post:

Definately 19x8.
Chrome / polished on white does go good.
I like these:

Thanks for that link Type R. I also believe chrome or polished is the only way to go on a white car
What about on graphite gray colour
what do u guys suggest in terms of colour?
i like JDM wheels :)
Go sick:

Mines all stock too. Waiting till more stuff comes out for CU2 first.
Polished or Chrome i believe is the way to go on most colours And they are less effected by stone chips which can't be avoided
hmmm Lets turn the question the other way around :p, if I got gunmetal grey rims... what car colour is suitable for me then? :p
why not get 22s on a CU2
^^^ LOL Buddah, you kno I fell in love with the white already :p
Why don't use black rims with white lip like this S5.

Only issue I have with black wheels is that when the car is moving, you can't really see the wheel design very well and it can be a bit hard to tell if it is an alloy wheel at all.
Do you drive with your head sticking out the window watching your wheel design while your driving?
^^^ hahahah not me, but I do look @ the wheel design if I want to take a pic of my car while a friend's driving it :p
Since when stock rims come in black?
When it's covered in brake dust :)
Black wheels do nothing for me I'm afraid.
Painted black steelies FTW! :p
Gunmetal rims look ok, but to me they are not as classy as polished alloy or chrome. I think they may tend to cheapen the appearance of the CU2
sorry buddah but I have to disagree (for the first time perhaps :p) with you on this and agree with Kimnkk here...
Chrome wheels and bling2 wheels are no no for me... But hey, its only my personal opinion though... Also perhaps coz I like the "sporty" look still than the "classy" look (otherwise I will fell in love with the Accord Asia instead of Euro XD)
I have plenty of pictures of exotic cars. In my personal view nothing looks better than polished alloy centers with chrome lips, regardless of the colour of the car.
But every individual has their own views & thoughts, but that is what makes the world what it is.
Can you imagine what it would be like if we all thought the same, what a dull world it would be
Personal opinions vary so much when it comes to cars. A classic example is i would never drive my car without a car bra, even though i know they spoil the look. But at the same time i know they stop 80% of stone chips & i cant stand those little devils. I still have the Bra off my FD1 in the cupboard, no one wants it. But i guess living in the bush has a lot to do with my view as well.
^^^ AAAAH Bloody stone chips!!! I got one from the trip through the national park last weekend... :( the horror... THE HORROR...
anyway back to the CU2 hehehhe
anywayyyyyyyyyy heheheh i think we need to delete our "unrelated" posts now buddah :p
anyway, regarding CU2 wheels, what spare wheels do we get for the Lux model? 17"?
ok, here are some of my favorite picks, i dont think anyone could class them as bling...lol

Hope you like them, but the TSX with 22's is over the top
The rims on white porsche above is brushed aluminium finish with polish/chrome lip like my iForged rims.
classy chrome and polished rims ? take a look at atjo's euro and kitbkk lol. they are a pair of mean motherfcukers lolllll
guys... just want to confirm... will 18x7.5 fit the CU2?
At least 20" on CU2 man :p 18x7.5 is fine.
Atjo, u 100% sure that it will do fine mate? I got the 225/40/18 tyres on my new XD7 and I dont want to be in a position where I have to sell the new wheels and tyers if I trade my civic with the Euro :(
my friend said they wont fit...
What's the reason it won't fit? Do you know the offset of the rims?
Just done some calculations for you Denot,
Stock tyre = 225/50x17. the correct replacements are:-
235/45x18......245/35x19
If you fit 225/40x18 the figures are
Standard revs per mile = 780 versus 804 for the 18"
speedo error would be 100kph standard versus 95kph for the 18"
so in reality if you fir 225/45x18 they are slightly too small.
hope that helps
thanks buddah... as long as the rims fit, I can change the tyres later right?
Nice rims on those porsches ..... What are your thoughts of a set of 19x8. With offset 40 konig next rims on a graphite gray cl7.....???sorry to hijack this thread but you guys give great tips
Should be alright. The front might rub the guards. I'm using 19x8.5 +40 & 19x9.5 +35.
It won't rub if it's not lowered. This was my friend's euro. He's using 19x8 & 19x8.5 but i couldn't remember his offset. It might be between 40-45.

I have done three months of research on this subject and the bottom line (at least for the CU2 Lux) is the following.
Stock rubber is 235/45/18 on 8" +55 offset wheels. If you go to 7.5" rims the 235 will still fit comfortably and a change to a +45 offset is OK and from my experience will clear the guards.
Any lower offset would increase the track by over 20mm. In NSW (don't know about other states) it is only legal to increase your track by 25mm (that would be +43 offset). I am told that an increase of more than 10mm in offset will put a lot of strain on the running gear, may void your warranty and insurance, not to mention you will probably have to roll the guards.
The other issue that I have encountered is the 'x factor' of the wheel, the CU2 has massive front brake calipers and even with a change to +45 offset a lot of wheels have a dish that is too deep and fouls on the caliper.
I have been shopping around for months now and the retailers really have no idea given the model is so new. I had one guy try to sell me +35 offset wheels and then when I insisted on nothing under +45 he wanted to put 5mm spacers behind the wheels.
My advice do your research before you buy.
By the way this is the best calculator I have found.

I've seen that photo before, it is an Acura in the States so not sure if the wheel would even be available here.
And a 22' wheel!!!! You would need to fit a 25 profile rubber band to get close to maintaining the correct wheel circumference. Ouch!
That's a 20" wheel.
Belongs to fritoLay on Acurazine.
http://tsx.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=689446
The caption says 22', but yes they do look more like 20's.
The tires don't look like 35's though, does the Acura run a different configuration to the Euro?
Hi, was browsing another thread saying the offset for the CU 2 is + 55.
Any ideas if Vertini - Hennessy fit well (18x8) Saw this in a magazine
http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/Content_...s_Hennessy.seo
Just curious. Any good Wheel places in brissy? Ive read tons of nightmare stories with ozzy and tempe...
Mate one look at the lip on those I'd say no way they will fit over the front brakes, even if they are a 55 offset, which I doubt.
These are mine, they are a similar style and they fit (18x8 45 offset).

Tenzo Type M
Taleb Tyres fitted them and they stock them, however I didn't deal direct with them I purchased them through a third party XDC Automotive in Sydney and they were great in finding a wheel for me that both fits and is legal.
Good luck, I found it a very frustrating experience (4 months) finding the right wheel.
Guys, any1 kno what are the minimum Tyre Load rate for CU2?
thanks Type R... my question was asked before I purchase the CU2 and now I have the info already :p
anyway, refering to Buddah on the 1st post of this thread, 235/35/19... I cant seem find any with 98+ load rate... is it true if hte wheels is bigger, we can use lower load rate?
^^^ why you delete your post Rudy?
Oh I thought I put in the wrong info for the oem spec cu2 wheel, but i looked it up all good now. If you are going for 19s, dont get 235/35, get 245/35 atleast. The load rating on 235 is too small (91) and it will leave more wheel gap. 245/35 matches the oem rolling diameter almost exactly. You dont have to get a 98, just make sure the weights match up...ie the load rating on whatever tyre you get can still comfortably support the weight of each corner. You have some room to move as the placard it comes with is inflated to much greater than the actual car weight.
polished silver work emotion XT7
Yes Rudy, if you look @ the calculation its abit weird... The Accord Thai is heavier than Euro, but they only use 94V as the load rate!!! my friend say the same thing as what u sed, he use 88 on his CL9 and nothing bad happened to him or the car... (yet? :p)
hahaha, I'm still thinking on using my XT7 18x7.5 on the CU2, but worried about the tyre to use...
It's not a worry as long as nothing happens, However if your ever in an unfortunate position & your tyres are checked you could be in deep shit if the load rating is below manufactured specs. Therefore you should use tyres with a minimum 98 load rating. You can go up, but you can't come down.
Actually thats not true, the vicroads guideline is misleading, I had a 91 on a 94 V car and a vicroads certified engineer said it was ok after he checked the weights...i had almost 100kg to spare on each corner. Its more about the actual weight rating compared to actual car weight, not simply the number.
