The Suspect ITR -----UPDATED to new setup results

hi,
As some of you already know I have had my DC2 ITR turbocharged for a while now..... but now the car has been taken to a whole new level.From the previous setup's 190kw @ 8psi running all stock internals to a new and improved 234kw @ 8psi with a newly built motor by Adrian at Toda Australia.
heres a sheet showing 228kw still @ 8psi, lol we never printed the 234kw run.

The build consists of:
-Ported head by TODA
-TODA oil pump
-forged mahle pistons
-Eagle rods
-TODA spec cams
-TODA valve springs
-OMNI retainers
-600x300x80 Front mount & 70mm alloy piping
-Turbosmart BOV
-duel diaphram Action clutch rated for 550hp
- Customized Garret turbo
-TIAL 44mm external Wastegate
-LSD motorsports manifold
- Crane ignition system
- Apexi Power FC
- Apexi avc-r (unused so far)
- Haltech map sensor (unused so far)
-Baffled sump
-3" dump pipe to a 3" exhaust
-Mishimoto Radiator
Big thanks to Adrian and Ashley from TODA for all there help and patients with me and my car. And also thanks for helping me select the parts for the build and most importantly for the budget!!! lol
And also a BIG thanks to Jim from DNA RACING WORKS for helping me source some of my parts.
Hopefully this weekend coming we will be raising the boost to 20psi, after the installation of the map sensor and the AVC-R is connected... ...will post results when the new tune is complete.
Plenty of work to be done yet!

dont stress mate ill be out there soon enough, and i will make the time match the numbers dont worrie, probably not next week though....lol need to buy some tyres for the strip..... if i am goign to go i will be doing it properly.

the mini ram is supposed to be designed for better/ more efficiant flow according to the people i brought it off in the U.S..... And so far it seems to be working well.

lol ben i was off the track half the day whilst i waited for brake pads to come from golburne!:P
and the other half of the day i was spinning out lol.

yeh mate....maybe 18psi maybe 20, lol ill be happy when the sheet has a 3XXkw on the top right corner lol... so far so good so lets see what she's got.

lol ok and thanks.... lol i think its a bit messy atm , so will be adding some more braided lines and possibly a wire tuck...... but i wanna sort out the high boost tuning first then atleast my mind will be at ease.

12.11 on first and only run at jamborre on toyo t1r street tyres at 123mph. wheel spinning 1st 2nd and 3rd.

unfortunatly i cracked a sleeve in my block due to racing on an oil temp that is , well lets say to low for drag racing lol....oop's...... now i will be comming back bigger and stronger , probable maybe just before or just after Xmas ....... stay tuned for the next episode! lol
p.s i ran a 12.5 on 8psi on falken anzenies , lol the block split before i could finish a run on 20psi (it happened mid run).

New setup results:
20PSI on simular setup but with a darton sleeved block and using 1200cc RC injectors rather then the old 770cc's:

We made 225fkw on 8 psi and 305fkw on 15psi earlier in the year , i've just been to busy to post latley.

i'd say it's got more in it on race fuel and about 30psi lol ....but this is a very safe tune at the moment and i dont really wanna push the limits too much on pump fuel.

peak tractive effort is at the 385Nm mark and holds true from 6900 till 9200 and slowly drifts down to bout 350Nm @ 9500 to answer your question.

I recon 11's is defintly on the cards and maybe 10's with the right driver/tyre combination , of which i have neither at the moment!!! lol

But great results and props for hanging in there to get it finished and where you wanted it to be, a lesson in there for those wanting this sort of power without sleeves, its an insurance policy.

Another big Toda built and tuned motor in the mix. :thumbsup:
