Comptech.It's SS.Cost me $500 2nd hand+$150 for install.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
DC headers - Ceramic 4-2-1 - Cost $400 approximating as i bought UR pulley with them.
Cant compare besides with stock, find it farely easy to accelerate/redline more easily, it doesnt have that sluggish feel and delay anymore. Once you change it you will feel a noticeable difference.
In my opinion i just wanted a bang for buck mod.
P.M EuroAccord13 and see what he says in technical words about the DC headers as he had it installed years ago, unless he replies to this beforehand.
Hope this helps.
Ebay Topspeed Stainless steel ones. $350 AUD landed. Fitted myself and have had zero issues also. Decent increase.
Bent leaking header. Installed it myself. Noisy, loss of performance....
aaron what sort of header are you running exactly? any details on it.
anyone got toda?
euro R header?
hahaha show me the link???
when are we gonna get the pullies
Hmm.Not too sure about the pulleys at this stage. Here's the link for the headers.http://www.heeltoeauto.com/bmy_searc...t%20-%20Header
your lazy
in my opinion yes, but only can compare with the stock one which is pretty crap not much of a hiss only slight. welding could have been done slightlyQuote:

are they worth the purchase or not
better. As you get what you pay for....DC headers does the job but if you want good stuff go toda or maxim but you would be paying a bit more than twice as much than DC.
cheers, daz

toda seem to have good gains, and personally would be my preference but i would hesitate to say that at over $1300 they have good bang for your buck.
shit thats expensive for headers
read that thread.
i think it worth it.
$1500 for 10kw lol .. none the less pretty impressive gains for a header
Thats with a mugen airbox, but impressive for NA.
Can anyone comment on whether their headers make the car sound louder or change the exhaust note at all?
i cant tell you how loud it is due to when i got my dc headers installed as i got RT hi flow cat too at the same time but after a weeks driving and wearing in the parts, it was very noticeable and louder. (IMHO i think it's mainly from the hi flow cat itself but changing headers as tony1234 said would have marginal noise increase)
My header ( topspeed) hardly increased noise. Slight raspy rumble. Any Aftermarket Intake will be louder.
Im getting a hi flow cat but am worried about additional noise.
no doubt that the noise will increase by how much not sure.Quote:

im very interested in the TODA race header. the proven gains and the whistling sound. 3rd gear pull feeling like 2nd gear pull.
im impressed
must have deep pockets hooyn.
If i had pockets that deep they would contain the keys to a 350z or s2000 not a euro :)
i think my next car will be an evo for a family car.
only sports car that can fit a family (just).
sorry to go off topic.
350z +1
Still choosing between Toda and 5Zigen race header. Any experience?
Take the Toda, I had it dyno tested and it made gains across the powerband.
I wanted a new car.
BTW the magnaflow 300 cell cat i got fitted did not increase noise at all. that being said its only done 50km and if its likemy headser it will take a few days to adjust.
your next job suntzu turbo your euro.
yeh give it time but then, increase of noise = psychological increase of power.
did you want increase of noise or not?
whats the supercat metal cat? looked on site briefly and i just assume they make some of magnaflows cats? i duno
whats a model number for a good magnaflow cat for the euro
cheers haha
Any cat that is not ceremic packed is better if you are after good performance. it is less restrictive and can carry higher temperature before breaking down.
As for Magnaflow, I would say model 91004M Cat would be good enough.
I got the Todas on mine and I love them. Very well made and definate improvement to the vehicle. But yes...a little pricey.
oo e-gene may i ask how your fujitsubo sounds now that u got header n hiflo cat?
