yes you can... however it's not exacly recommended.
the official method is the drain/fill/drive repeat 3 times.

Lower control arm is a common issue in those cars, so your mechanic is correct. could be a bolt loose or bushing completely gone.
Also check driveshaft and CV boot
oh also front sway bar...

CL9 accord euro does not have Mass airflow sensors.

you mean the actual gearbox?
CL7 EURO R gearbox has shorter gear ratios and LSD compared to CL9.

there is no idle air control in this car. it's drive-by-wire
check it anyuway tho, just in case it's gunk build up on the throttle plate.

Sounds like a dead/dying ignition coil.
Check the CEL and move ignition coil around, if cel move with specific coils, then you will know which coil had gone bad.

reset ecu and try again, might be because it's stuck in a weired ignition/fuel table.

can you do a load test on the alternator and battery? see if it's a electricity supply issue?

last i checked (and this was a while ago) flashpro didnt support a lot of the AUDM CU2's

Looking at the size of the rear muffler, it isnt really big anyhow so i dont think it would do a lot of dampening.
the factory exhaust is quiet because of the rear muffler, which was a turbo...

You sure that location being almost at the T junction is not causing extra reverberation?
