Finished installing a b16 into an ek1.
also did auto to manual while at it.

Problem.... one of the relays underneath the steering while buzzes when ignition is switched... tried swapping with...

again, will I need an obd2b specific harness???

did ek4's come in obd2b? or is that a non issue??

Doing an engine conversion in a 99 ek1.

Using an EM1 engine harness.....

now the issue is, the em1 harness doesn't have ecu plug A on it....
bought an em1 dash harness and found that there is...

h22a4's (obd2a) have it at the end of the plenum...... d16y4's have it on the inlet pipe....and is black

worked it out... IAT.... use to seeing them on the inlet pipes.....

What goes here?

Got it on the d16y4 and h22a4.... still not sure what it is... The white plug at the back of the inlet manifold

I just installed a h22a4 into eg hatch WITH power steering AND A/C.... though a/c needs the lines to be finished and regassed.....

apparently you can (according to the info i gleened from all my searching)........ mounts are the same on ek's whether b or d series..... it's the brackets that are important.....

im not concerned with that atm....

technically speaking, the b16 was available in civics till 01, so if you really wanted, you could convert it to obd2 etc....

that said, when it goes for rego,...

rear transmission t bracket, top transmission bracket, and timing side bracket..... pretty much all except for the front transmission one which should be the same as the eg bracket.

doing this conversion for brother in law.....

just need to clarify, i can use the mounts from the d16, but will need to change the top transmission, rear transmission, and timing side brackets....

i have a harness with what seems to be some missing plugs/wires and would like to wire in the o2 sensor straight to the ecu.

4 wire being 2x white, a black, and a grey wire....

if you aren't getting a voltage at motor wires, then it's probably a faulty relay.... dirty or corroded contacts. should probably test your fuses also with a meter

Are the 4th and 5th gen lude balancers the same???

Or better put, can i use a 92-96 crank pulley/balancer on a 98 h22a4???

Ok, so just finishing up a h22a4 in an eg hatch.

Running a p5m (jap spec according to seller of ecu).

Throwing codes 6 (engine coolant temp), and 30 (auto gearbox).
Also, knock sensor not even...

Does the half shaft bearing on honda engines require a press?

Or is it as simple as removing the circlip etc?
