the shades that cover the original head light and reflect it back onto the rear of the light. you have to put in longer ones in my kit at least cause the HID bulb is a fair bit...
as the title states, ive recently bought an HID kit for my EK1 civic. tried fitting it up the day i got it in the mail and found that i had to replace the shades...eeeeeek!
i have part numbers for the bendix pads and the endless pads... so getting pads isnt the issue. its just if i have to exchange the pads for new ones what japanese model code lines up with my EK1?
have you tried winding the pre-load down? this is the pressure set by the lock nut immediatley underneath the spring. wind the nut down the thread and see if makes a difference. make sure you do it...
