the shades that cover the original head light and reflect it back onto the rear of the light. you have to put in longer ones in my kit at least cause the HID bulb is a fair bit...

as the title states, ive recently bought an HID kit for my EK1 civic. tried fitting it up the day i got it in the mail and found that i had to replace the shades...eeeeeek!

if anyone has a guide...

so this thread is just under a month old...BUT

i am in the middle of swapping my EK1 CXI brakes for EK4 items...

THIS IS NOT A BOLT ON SWAP!

you will need more than just calipers and discs...

just a quick question...

will EK4 brakes / calipers, clear my standard 14" steelies on my EK1 civic? or will i need to go to a 15" wheel?

and what is exceptable disc rotor runout on the disc's?...

i have part numbers for the bendix pads and the endless pads... so getting pads isnt the issue. its just if i have to exchange the pads for new ones what japanese model code lines up with my EK1?

i have just tried to fit up a set of brake pads for an EK4 onto my EK1 CXI and they dont fit.

can someone fill me in on the JDM equivalent of the EK1 CXI?

have you tried winding the pre-load down? this is the pressure set by the lock nut immediatley underneath the spring. wind the nut down the thread and see if makes a difference. make sure you do it...

yeah i noticed that my HSD HS (bottom of the range) coilovers are 12f and 8r... this is very stiff in a car that weighs udner 1000kg! but with the damper set up correctly they are too bad. still...

just flare your guards or take out the inner guard. it really isnt very hard. just a phillips head screwdriver will be enough to take the plastic off.

if its rubbing on the actual guard then get...

i cant make myself change gears without putting in the clutch. mind you my left hand and left foot dont always operate in co-ordination...

so while my left foot does move, i probably just am flat...

they come with a 38mm piston and 15 point adjustment in the damping. they are made in korea.

im about to order some 06/07 HSD coilovers. just the HS type.
