As far as I know they are a direct fit. I'm not sure why anyone would deliberately decide to run them though (unless they can find them really cheap), because they are *really* heavy.

A FD2 2.0 manual should be 0-100 in around 8-9 seconds, close to 9 seconds. The R18 SOHC 1.8L already does it in about 9.0...
