Hey man, I'm not a mechanic but my guess would be that the rear rotors have less material to machine. When new they are 9mm thick and the minimum thickness specified is 8mm, so only 1mm to play with....

Sorry, yes direct fit. The CL7/9 kit fits straight on.
I needed 10mm spacers for my wheels.

Ok, well in that case the PMU listing is completely incorrect and should not specify CU2 at all.

I purchased some Project Mu CRD front and rear rotors as listed in the application guide on the website

and some NS400 brake pads...

Yes I agree, either take the time to remove the front bumper and headlight assembly completely or just take it to Honda.
