generally if u want a more responsive bass with lighter more frequent kicks (ideal for fast pace music: dance, electro, trace etc.) you want a small sub in a smallish sealed box.

if any of the above still hasn't sorted you out then check your drive shafts. old/worn cv's may cause some vibration.
