If you pay someone to do it, is better to get a new one. You never know how long the 'pretty new' will last n if there's any defects on it.
I would say b16 turbo. owned Ek with k20 n pretty good for daily driving.
but spend $$$ didn't get as much power as turbo b16.

50 meter is more than enough. Previously I used 40m on my 4-2-1. Just put the heat wrap in water for a day before you wrap them. More easy for shaping.
I would say first check on the vacuum leaks, then iavc valve. it happened to me before and it end up the iavc valve that stuff up. paid for a new iavc valve with my leg
