get some soap and water and spray it around that area see if theres any bubbles for air leaks man

yeah double benny if the hose is connected property and put a hose clamp on so theres no air leaks :)

hey benny, put back the stock intake to make sure it doesnt do the same thing as it does when the simota one is on....u might have left a hose disconnected making the engine hunt

Hey man i got the same problem, its a common issue for 3rd synchro to go on these gearboxs, i changed the gearoil and it still crunched in high revs. JDM yard should have them in stock as i got them...

Dry sand it first
Wet sand it down till smooth and original paint is gone
Give it 2 to 3 coats of paint
Then 1 coat of clear coat
Did it on mine turned out like a Matt colour
