have you checked what voltage the battery is getting while the car's running? could be a case of the alternator not charging, in which case even a brand new battery will run flat, though it shouldn't...

If anyone out there has rebuilt a honda gearbox and taken lots of clicky-clicky, would they possibly be able to do a quick write up? or point me to somewhere it's already been posted (HT?)
i've heard of similar aged civic gearboxes being bolted up, though the driveshafts/cv's were changed i believe.
civic driveshafts are quite a bit thinner than the CRX item, so i wouldn't advise it...
not worth it... cheap to set up, expensive to keep filling up.
just boost the D16 or buy something fast... only reason you'd put fully hektik nawwss onto a stock D series is because you can do it...
i changed all crankshaft bearings on my D16 without yanking the engine, just jacked her up nice and high and spent a few painstaking hours under it delicately removing/re-installing all the bearings...
