FAR OUT seriously what are these Honda people feeding me... gunna tell em to change the parts start the engine and test the compression.
If its drivable its goin straight to toda.
Nah timing was just aligned up and was turned by hand. Have picked up a 2nd hand tensioner and timing chain and going to test it running properly before i get the cylinder head taken...
Honda said it's meant to last engine life.. Tensioner failed for me and timing is gone.. Said dirty oil cause incorrect pressure and tensioner to fail..
with my service at honda.. i took it in and complained about the 2000-3000 rpm rattle. Shoudl the mechanics have known timing chain tensioner before they changed oil and tried to start?...
Got the car serviced, they changed the oil and filter turned it on.. apprantly the timing chain has skipped.
The bloke says the dirt and grit build up in the oil (hasn't been changed...
thinking he means launch control as you can set it to what you like say 4k exact and regardless if u have your foot to floor ecu wont go over it.. guess it just allows change to the perfect launch...
i recently bought the clarion max676vd headunit and am planning to get the sat nav option that is plug and play with this device,, so baciscally i get double din and flush sat nav in my dc5..
