Basically the exhaust gets really hot and the cold water makes the metal contract quickly which causes the vibrations.

Finally i was able to have the steering rack slider replaced. Had the rack regressed as well.
It has made a big difference. There is no play or slop in the steering anymore, it is alot more direct....
The hatchback will give you a touch more practicality. But it is still a Type R and is designed for the track. Won't be any better in carparks or sitting in traffic.
Before buying EP3 check front suspension components, as these wear out pretty quickly (bushings, tie rod ends, ball joint and sway bar end links)
Check for signs of wear on your clutch, standard one...
For the record got the wheel alignment done today, all four wheels. The rear toe was out by 3mm and front was out by 1mm.
It feels better, but there is still slight bump steer at slow speeds.
Nah I've had a mechanic do the wheel alignment.
But I've read that there is a difference between getting a wheel alignment and a proper suspension geo setup
I've owned and EP3 for about a year now and i have some issues with bump steer.
At slow speeds, over bumpy roads the cars steers violently to the left and I hear slight knocks.

Yeah I wasn't sure on the turbo timer either, I think sometimes the Japanese just mod whatever they can lol. Interior was mint though
