After 3 years, my old head unit has finally shat itself.
Based on my criteria and price range im looking at the Pioneer DEH-P5050UB (I believe this is the 2008 version of the '5' series head...
Front lips are year specific (ie. 96-98 or 99-00)
Rear lips are car 'style' specific (ie. Hatch, Sedan, Coupe)
So in your case, you will need a 96-00 Hatch Rear Lip.

95% sure all hatches/coupes share the same power windows. Sedan may be different.
Define broken - no windows work? drivers side doesnt work? slow wind up?
i believe only the keyless entry system is linked to the stock headunit, not the immobiliser unit.

I see. the reason i suspected a dodgy alignment is because the front is significantly lower than the rear but the front tyres seem fine.
Might go to a specialised suspension place tomorrow and get...
