dont forget most of the jap brand springs are designed for the JDM dc5r which has differenct shock set up to ours, so will probably wear our stock shocks even faster.
FGK powergetter here, i had a toda before, similar noise level but i prefer the look of the powergetter.

i think u need more than the ligth reset, i cant recall exactly what u need, but u need to put something across the connector to prevent the light being on.
iVtec is a generic term honda uses, i think every honda has a ivtec badge on the engine :p

luxury will have a different version of vtec compared to the type s.

DC5 gearboxes have a couple of known problems,
DC5R main problem is nothcy 2nd gear
DC5S i believe the main problem is 3rd gear, maybe one of the DC5S guys can confirm.
if thats the case, check the impedance of the speakers compared to what the headunit is designed for, eg, if the headunit is designed to run 8ohm speakers and ur running 4ohm speakers that could be...

hrm sounds fairly normal for the DC5R, the engine mounts arent particularly stiff so the engine does mover around quite a bit. and also 2000rpm is very low really so the engine will take a bit to get...
its easy to fit a single DIN deck in the DC5 dash.
u can buy a Honda pocket like the one in DC5R which has a door on it, or just get one from a car stereo shop.
it does have some.
there is thick wadding stuff on the boot lining panels, presumably to reduce exhaust noise.
not sure about under the floor carpet and doors etc tho
