did the swap come with obd1 ecu?? Or you can use obd2a b18c2 ecu so it'll plug in to your loom.

Perform a diagnostic test and check if you get the error codes for vtec solenoid or pressure switch.
There's a DIY in the DIY section that shows you how to do this and what codes to look for....
i use the american l/h manual for my eg and dc2.. pretty spot on..and you can work out the diff with the left hand right hand differences. otherwise it'll be hard finding a aus version online.
