Generally Fixed back seats (Bride Zeta, Recaro Pole Position) are side mount, and reclinable seats (Bride Brix, Recaro SR3 etc.) are bottom mount.

^ as above. Those engines are cheap as chips. Plus you could have warped the head, meaning all that work you've done replacing the gasket would have been wasted.

The D Series engines aren't really that bad for performance. If you're going to keep it a street car, just invest your money into suspension and response, there's no need for BIG power when driving...
