This is spot on.
My crossover is pretty audible at 4400rpm then I cant really hear a crossover at 6000 probably due to my intake still boxed with ducting into the front guard
last thing i would be worried about is the build date,doesnt change the fact that its a twin carb DC1. Feel horrible for you dude, still young and put that amount of money into a dud but we all learn...
i replaced my brake light through that square panel
EDIT:no sorry that was on my EG, i remeber what I did, you push in on the little circle on the trim screw then I popped it out and pulled the trim...
what do mean you the cover keeps spinning?
theres like a square plastic cover you can just pull that off and then the bulb socket should just turn 90 degrees and its free to pull out
