first week i bought the boots, i wore them everywhere on the bike.
now, i wear my sneakers when commuting and boots on proper rideouts.
mind you, i'm at uni so walking around in bike boots around...
if i were to redo my restriction period again i'd choose either a vtr250 or a cbr250.

7.5" with +40 should be pretty flush with the guards.
i have 7" with +42 and it sits about a couple mm behind the guards.

i have that same 1st to 2nd problem sometimes. not sure if im releasing the clutch too soon or what but it sounds like the gears crunch and breaks my heart.:( i take it easy after that sussing out if...
change gears when accidentally bouncing off the limiter cause the last 1000rpm happens too quick:p

the store i got mine from has shut down i think, so can't help there.
i think the rims look HUGE because of the low profile rubber bands on them.
id hate to ding a rim driving into a pot hole..
stop at the battery removal, i dont think you need to take that out.only for installing the cai. hope that helps.

the second page shows how to remove the resonator which is the pieces just below airbox.
there is also a pipe which sits in the inside wall...
