I sounds like the same problem i had, the inner CV doesn't make a knocking noise when you turn the wheel. I think it was $180ish for the inner CV, but as i said the warrenty people picked up the bill.

Yeah, did the same check and not a creek/noise at all. So looks like its a CV joint. Does anyone know how much it'll cost roughly... and lucky i did get that extended warrenty!

I've booked my car into Honda for Monday... its all working its just the lights on the buttons. I don't think its the dimmer switch near the speedo as the speedo lights are bright.
Its only the buttons that won't light up. The radio/AC all work, this just the buttons that don't light up. I checked all the fuses and i couldn't see any that where blown.

I have an extended warranty with mine. I got it thought the dealer when i purchased my 2003 in dec last year. It gives me an extra 5 years. So i'm covered untill 2011!
