changing your engine compression ratio is NOT minor tuning, it requires the cylinder head to be removed and components either modified or changed.

If coilover was made for the 01-04 model dc5r (jdm or otherwise) then coilover will fit ausdm dc5r AND 04+ dc5s

If coilover was made for 05 dc5r (jdm) then, no, it wont fit your ausdm dc5r/ dc5s

i kno your tryin to keep things simple BUT a petrol engine needs more AIR in the combustion process NOT fuel... hence why u get a 'lean' tune it is more power productive.

I had a custom catback which bolted onto the stock header, and when jdm 1 was fitted everything lined up fine.... HOWEVER the jdm header is designed to bolt onto a jdm cat therefore the flanges are...

In my previous car, an em1, i had this fitted and had no scaping issues whatsoever.

The car was sitting on king lows and riding on 17's.

Wouldn't the bolt manufacturer account for this when they give you the torque spec for the bolt? to take all the guess work out?

How and when do they measure this? On the old bolts when they are removed?

I would say 99% of engine builders torque to spec, however some might torque to bolt spec and not manufactures spec, which can be different.

Does it matter that these are selling to a L/H/D market? do comptech make a l/h and r/h drive version?
