in the 5th gen the differences are engine as mentioned

VTIR has 5 stud wheels, glass sunroof, climate control, 16" alloys vs 15" on SI, leather steering...

my lude lude has 147kw at the fly and on the dyno it put out 114.7kw at the wheels which is a 22% loss in power from engine to wheels which is reasonable.
even if the dyno was a bit optimistic id...
upto 136 fwkw from a 1.6lt n/a and upto 162 fwkw from a 1.8lt n/a its amazing the power outputs these engines can muster when built properly!
i only got an average 115 fwkw from my 2.2lt (H22A)...
i fully understand that and that is what makes it so impressive!!
he did a 12.9 @ 167kmh
in did 15.4 @ 150kmh
you would know that 17kmh doesnt normally = 2.5sec down the 1/4 so his chassis...
1134kg and a high 12's needs to be making some decent power!!
the slicks must make a big difference cause your 60ft time is awsome for a FWD
fair enough still you would have to be making 180 - 200fwkw to run that time and that is huge power for an n/a 1.8lt
unless of coarse it its stripped out and weighs under 1000kg then you would...
anywhere from 525 - 690km depending on how nice i am and if its alot of peak hour traffic or freeway
so thats 8.69lt to 11.43lt per 100km which is around what the manufacturer states
good job mate but this only tells me what is stock not what has been modded!
details like mods, kw at the wheels would be helpful ?
is your cars tripped out or full street trim ??
you obviously havnt done much research cause there are HEAPS of parts for the lude especially in the US where they have done anything you can think of to them!
also you talk like the prelude...
Go the lude! but then again im fairly biased :D

Main reasons would be:
more power
more torque
digital climate control
cruise control
good effort BSRacer good to read the full article!
and i pushing my luck to ask for the photos from the article to be posted up?
if you have access to the article you should be able to copy...
there is a way if you search for a specific article through google then view the cached version of it that you can read the full thing but doesnt seem to find new articles when you search! :(
yeah i just saw that article and was thinking the same thing!
its crap that you have to pay to read the full article! :thumbdwn:
if anyone is a member and feels like copying the article and...
