Are you getting power to any of the other cabin components? Did you splice the harness or just plug it all in? Have you tested the harness with a voltmeter?

The vast majority of comments are from people that have had first hand experience. That being said, if you want to take the risk it is your cash so be my guest.

Depends how handy you are and what the fit is like. It shouldnt be to hard a job as you can just predrill the holes and bolt it on.

Yes, but this is usually a one of service. Those that are selling big quantities and installing them are traders (ie AkMotorworks etc).

It sounds like you have painted helmets before, but if you havent can I suggest you get in contact with the helmet manufacturers and make sure that you get lots of input from them. I have read online...

Take off the gearknob and there should be an hole at the top of the gearstick. Get a two litre bottle of gearbox fluid and pour it in the hole. You will also need a funnel.
