ive had my teg from 200,000ks and now its abt to hit 280,000ks and it's never blown smoke. while it could be anything from rich petrol, not letting the car warm up or even the oil being changed...

the vtec system in the base dc5 is very different from the dc2 and dc5 type r and s.
i think i read somewhere it uses the same vtec used in the honda stream and accord...
