If you are running the car as a simple daily driver then just something that matches OEM is fine. If you want to go longer between changes or like to rev a bit then go full synthetic.

Make sure you use a line from the sandwich plate to the sender unit and mount the sender to chassis. If you attach directly to the motor, vibrations will kill it eventually. Mine lasted about 10000km...
