em1 is a 99 - 00 coupe. its a B16a DOHC vtec 118kw instead of a D16 SOHC vtec 93kw for the EJ...
Em1 has slightly different head and rear lights, doesnt have those big black molds around the...

ive heard that even for a bseries engine it wont give u big numbers... so for a d serires i doubt its gonna do to much as 2mpress already mentioned...
although it looks good in the car i would try...
i think ur gonna need a jdm cat or a EJ cat... for some reason em1 coupes have different cats to the EJs... EMs are longer
ian on this forum had a similar problem with getting a vision b-pipe and...
wat mods have u done?? i.e intake/ air filter...
cos if u recently got a new intake/air filter u might hav forgotten to connect the air sensor again... therefore car doesnt know how much air is...
if your not gona do major work i wouldnt go anything more the a heavy duty sports organic...
dont know how much a stock clutch for your car will cost but you can get exedy heavy duty clutch kit...
nrma is way off on heaps of honda stats... redbook isnt that crash hot either
before i got my em1 i read that they did 8.7, 8, 7.8secs... and first time i did 0-100km i smashd all them times...

VTi coupes only came out till 1998... 99 and 00 coupes are either VTiR or GLi
Vti coupe should have the performance over the 318 bmw tho...
with a 120,000kms its probably the clutch... but get it checked first
if friction point is getting higher... it shouldnt on hydraulic clutches (bad sign)
just try driving it on a hill... do a hill start and if your lagging or cant get up to speed like you normally...
if its not the clutch fluid then your clutch is on its way out... as Ben said its a hydraulic clutch so could be worn... and will get worse rather quickly once the friction point starts to come up
go an aftermarket one if your gonna do mods... plus its not much more than an oem one
yeah the em shocks are better... u could consider it an upgrade even though there oem but check out aftermarket shocks aswell... probably around the same price
ej8 shocks are different to em1... dont know about the rest...
might wanna check your fuse aswell...
just do a conversion to a b16... i wouldnt bother rebuilding a d series... if not just hold out for a d series with less K's

Vtec controllers arent that useful as Qwoootz just mentioned...
when you race/give your car a hit, your car doesnt come down from 6krpm (unless your a big granny shifter)... thats if you go to...
check to see if your coilovers on the back is screwed in properly... that might be the bangin sound... open your boot and remove the carpet and check... i had bad banging noises and thats because...
they do pop out every now and then... you have to be patient when your looking for em1s...
i HEARD that they only brought in 400 in Australia (99-00)... so theres probably a little bit less cos...
simota only if you dont wanna spend to much... otherwise K&N is a good buy
you can always try honbits... i know there selling a couple of b16a's... dont know about half cuts though
