Under low RPM pinging is bad enough to begin chipping at the top of your pistons :S you did the right thing by retarding the timing....
Are you reffering to a noise like coins in a coffee can? I've been hearing it in my car lately and I run BP ultimate and it happens ~2500-3000RPM and under load.

For an EG with a bseries motor a dual core radiator from a 2nd gen CRX will do. This a straight bolt on.
You can also try to fit an integra radiator but you'll need custom mounts and to run AC...

IMO any SRI that uses the Venturi (sp?) effect to induct air into the motor works just as good if not better than a generic short ram. That's why I like the Top fuel/J's racing intake.
B18C's are very strong motors, just make sure you replace the oil after you track it:thumbsup: :thumbsup: I would at least get a better set of tires and a good wheel alignment. Better brakes, bars,...

I was always under the impression that the tanabe hyper was very quiet. I was considering going for exactly the same setup you have ,after reading this I might just think twice about it :S
