Made the box out of a sheet of alluminium, just bent it into a cylinder and then added the base and top. I pop-rivetted the base cos its stationary and I screwed in the lid so I'll be able to take it...

If you can see from the third picture I attached, notice how the bottom area of the box has more volume/space compared to the top? I figured due to position of the piping most of the air would rush...

Mate has Bendix Ultimates in his car, apparently they're pretty good. Yeah I've only changed my front rotors and pads too, didn't have enough cash to do the rears. Will do once I make enough money...

Don't do it too high mate as, like you said, it will require some clutch control which means theres going to be heaps of stress on your clutch.

Perhaps you're travelling too slow? But yeah, it takes abit of experience (especially when in a new car) to get any car driving smoothly. :)

That rule "measure twice cut once" is definately needed mate! Oh so many times I've wished I had just used it.

Damn clutches for Civics are cheap. My organic clutch kit cost me $480. That with a 40% uprated pressure plate and bearings.
