Yeah CV boots/clutch master cylinder are not too hard even to attempt yourself, but without correct tools/research and confidence then don't attempt it.

Trying pulling a low 14 in a stock gc8, perfect launch/shift.
My mate regularly goes drags (not a amature) had 200hp at 4wheels, got 14.0 at best.
Beaten plenty of GC8's on the street off the lights and on freeway runs. I have pretty basic mods, intake/header/exhaust/lightpulley/lightfly etc. (no internals)
For my past 3 services have been using this stuff. Works great, barely losing any oil, got 170k on engine.

Rear plastics may be loose, in general DC2's give creaks from the back as they age. Another thing that is most common is the rear bumper on any DC2, it has very weak stepup points that hold the rear...

If you wanna run for looks, you would want little camber so 17x8 with a +30 would already be out of the guards. I've fitted a 18x9 with a +40 offset for lols, That sat outside by an inch....

Its possible to replace some angel lights easily, some are harder. Comes down to what type you have?
1. Needs sound deadening for comfort, but doesn't bother me as I'd rather it lighter
2. Turning circle quite large.
3. Dislike having to vtec at least once every drive, waste of fuel.

Also your car already has a factory oil cooler/heater, how could you have no oil cooler?
Type R pressures get extremely high, would recommend if you want to go hard without worrying so much. I'm doing same setup, just get a sandwich plate and your set.
