The drivers door lock in my CU2 Accord Euro has stopped working. I have been hunting around trying to find a replacement, but I can only seem to find replacement actuators for the CL9.
The O'Brien branch contacted me after I sent an email to the main contact email on the O'Brien website. Hopefully the replacement windscreen fixes the problem. (I also have no idea...
I have just had the windscreen replaced by Obrien's in my 2008 CU2 Accord Euro Luxury Navi. Since the replacement, the rain sensing wipers are not working. When I put the wiper stalk into the auto...
I had my CU2 manual in for its 10,000 klm service today. Advised them of the pinging noise and was advised that they had heard the noise in my car and had let Honda Australia know. They said Honda...
I have used Freeway Car Audio in Dandenong and Malvern and found them to be really good. They offer good advice and listen to what you want from your system.
I am taking my 6 speed manual CU2 Euro from Melbourne to the border early next week. It will be mostly on the Hume so I will post up what sort of figures I get. I doubt that I will ever be able to...
That sounds exactly the same as mine now. I only started to hear something around the 5,000 k mark. (Mine is a manual by the way) Mine sounds like a metallic rattle, almost like a cam chain...
Very sad to see people with some genuine advice to go from any forum. I don't know why it has to degrade into insults because someone has a different opinion and/or one you don't like.
I have to agree that the level of service I received from a couple of Honda dealers was pathetic. The first dealership, I had a salesman who could barely speak English, then the sales manager giving...
I think I am in the same boat as you Primetimex. Over the last few weeks I have noticed something like a metallic rattle when the engine is under load. My car has just rolled over 5,000 k's and I...
You could say the same about Mick Doohan though. He won his titles after Rainey and Co had all retired. The biggest thing about your Doohan's, Rossi's, etc. is that they are just so far ahead of...
K3nnis, I was in the same boat as you, tossing up between the Mazda and the Honda. I felt that the presentation of the Euro, particularly the interior, was miles ahead of he Mazda, plus you got more...
I wouldn't be so stressed about waiting a month or two for your car if it is the one you want. I had to wait 4 and a half months for my Euro and don't regret it.
I would rather do it myself than leave it to the 15 year old first year apprentice at the dealership. They probably pay the apprentice $10 per hour, but charge us $50
Going off the trip computer, the worst I have ever got to would be high 600 k mark. That is with mostly city driving. On a freeway run, it was over 900. Mine is a manual luxury navi.
Bob, I've been in a standard Evo 9 and it was well and truly quick enough for me. Couldn't imagine what it would be like with more than double the power.
I looked at the Mazda and Jetta as well before buying the Euro. The Mazda is a nice car, but I didn't think the interior was anywhere as nice as the Euro. I thought the Jetta was a little too small...
Of course I do, doesn't everyone? I just find that when you see a car drive past with black wheels, it doesn't look like it has aftermarket wheels at all.
