That sounds plausible dahondr98. Judging from the logs there were 2 owners before me so one of them could have used the wrong globes. I know for sure that the globes I installed when I bought the car...

those would protect from external damage right? I'll look into getting some but what could have caused the cracks from the inside? that's whats baffling me at the moment =\

Yea. I read that in the Honda installation manual. But still I didn't get power with the headlights on, key in ignition, engine on, etc. =\

Well I went to Jaycar and bought a new relay but the same problem occurred when I wired it all correctly. Turns out I wasn't getting any power from the fusebox to charge the coil in the relay.

Edit: Ignore previous post.. Rechecked my wiring and the ground wasn't actually contacting bare metal so there is now power going into the relay and not out. My guess is the relay isn't working.

wow indeed. But having a look at the negative feedback not many people complained about the LED strips so it should be safe to buy. postage with that seller might be another issue though. lol
