you have the same problem i had weeks ago,bought the car with no signs of wear and tear on the gearbox only to figure the gears were slipping,i got my box rebuilt at hanny's performance, it was not...
i take it as the sensor unit, is at the back of the cluster itself???
unpluging that,am i going to cause anything else to not work, in regards to the petrol indicator etc....
as the title reads, its been a problem for maybe a month now??
even though the boot is closed the little indicator on the dash stays on,before i do take it to a auto electrician...is there anything...

i can say i had them, and still do, with No problems. :)
just make sure you got decent shocks to go with them, iv got sleeves running with Koni yellow shocks. hope that Helps.

get a JVC KDAVX2 it has a small 3 and a half inch screen , iv got the older model KDAVX1, in a civic though...but yeh you can adjust how you want to open it and stuff etc...
